I have unfortunately had for personal reasons to withdraw my candidacy. Due to what feels like an anomaly in the rules, (in which the deadline to withdraw and have your name removed from the ballot is the same as the deadline to file nomination papers), my name will unfortunately apparently remain on the ballot, even though I have withdrawn. To seek to avoid confusion, I have informed everyone who supported my nomination and several of the organizations hosting All Candidates Meetings, as well as the Muskoka Doppler, will also inform folks that I have withdrawn; I would be very grateful if you folks could also do so when you publish the results of this survey.
